Morgana wins by making one root matter. Pressure the wave without standing in the open, cast Black Shield for a specific control threat and enter with Soul Shackles only when the second tether is realistic.

Lane and map plan
Safe waveclear
Place Tormented Soil from outside the opponent's main threat range and keep a ward on the side you lean toward.
Binding pressure
Cast Q through narrow paths or after the opponent spends movement; do not throw it automatically into a full wave.
Ultimate fight
Shield the control that would cancel the entry, Flash into a meaningful group and preserve a survival tool for the tether delay.

Level 3
Binding, Soil and Black Shield create a complete safe-lane pattern.

Soul Shackles turns grouped enemies into an engage opportunity.
