How Amumu wins

Amumu prefers predictable clears and supported fights. He is vulnerable when invaded alone, but extremely valuable when teammates can layer damage into his ultimate.

Amumu splash art and skins

6 skin splash references are attached to this Classic champion record. A “Classic skin” badge comes directly from the Data Dragon name; other entries are visual references and do not independently claim current in-client availability.

Classic kit

Abilities and practical use

Cursed Touch

Basic attack priority targets before the team's magic damage lands to apply the resistance reduction.

Bandage Toss

Cast from a controlled angle or after allied crowd control; the Classic version has no spare charge.

Despair

Toggle it for camps and sustained fights, then turn it off while moving to protect mana.

Tantrum

Use repeated casts in clustered camps and when several physical attackers commit to you.

Curse of the Sad Mummy

Catch multiple threats or guarantee a critical target; do not spend it after allies have already disengaged.

Game plan

Lane and map plan

First clear

Path away from likely invades, track the opposing jungler and avoid low-percentage river fights.

Pre-6 ganks

Prefer lanes with allied setup so Bandage Toss is not the only way the play starts.

Objective fights

Arrive with mana and vision, then threaten a multi-target ultimate rather than showing early.

Timing windows

Power spikes

Level 3

All three basic abilities stabilize clustered clears and give one complete gank pattern.

Level 6

Curse of the Sad Mummy changes both ganks and dragon-area fights.

First tank item

Longer front-line uptime creates more Tantrum and Despair value.

Matchup framework

What changes the lane

difficult

Early invade jungler

Ward entrances, trade sides of the map and do not contest camps without lane priority.

favorable

Grouped melee team

Let enemies compress their formation before using the ultimate.

even

Long-range disengage

Use fog and Flash to shorten the approach instead of forcing Bandage Toss at maximum range.

Classic context

Differences from modern League

  • Bandage Toss has no multi-charge safety net in the Classic kit.
  • Cursed Touch is applied by basic attacks and should be timed before allied magic damage.
  • Legacy jungle items, runes and 30-point masteries replace modern pets and rune trees.
