Taric prefers fights that stay within reach. Control the wave early, make the enemy walk into Dazzle range and use armor utility to keep the carry alive through the return damage.

Lane and map plan
Levels 1–3
Keep the wave near your side and avoid forcing a short lane where Dazzle produces no chase.
Level 4 onward
Stun after the opponent crosses the safe retreat point, then stay beside the marksman for armor and healing value.
Team fights
Peel the nearest real threat, activate Radiance as damage begins and keep attacking only when carry position remains protected.

What changes the lane
Physical short-range lane
Use armor value and Dazzle to win the committed exchange.
Long-range poke
Preserve health, avoid spending the aura activation without contact and wait for jungle setup.

Hold Dazzle until the defensive spell is spent or the opponent overextends into a longer lane.
Differences from modern League
- This Classic Taric kit is fundamentally different from the modern linked-spell version.
- Shatter supplies an armor aura and Radiance is the old team-fight steroid.
